Hot rolled asphalt is considered to be the premium surfacing material for driveways, it delivers the very best in low maintenance surfacing while delivering outstanding durability that will give more than 25 years of trouble free service when installed correctly, an asphalt driveway is very low maintenance and exceptionally easy to keep clean as there are no open sand filled joints for weeds to live and grow unlike with block or sett paving, making the removing of  leaves / debris even snow an easy task. 

The same goes for bird droppings, mud and silts they simply just wash away during rain fall. you can use various types of  bullnosed, hi or low chamfer kerbing units together with flat standard brick or tumbled setts to form contrasting complimentary edge detailing combining many colours and designs to add extra visual impact to your driveway, you also have a choice of coloured heat bonded resin chips that can be added within the finished asphalt surface. 

The new generation of inlay manhole covers with lifting keys built in eliminates the unsightly old rusting metal or oddly shaped manhole covers, they are almost invisible as the inlay materials match the surfacing surrounding it, these new hot dipped galvanised units are installed as standard at no extra charge within all of our paving areas.

Well done Star Paving Our first meeting with the owner of Star Paving Services David Dewbery left us with a feeling of confidence in his company's ability to do a good job block paving our driveway. This of course is very important. The fact that we had to wait a longish time for the work to start suggests that Star Paving had plenty of work in the pipeline which is, I think, a good sign. The two workmen who did the work were both pleasant and friendly and obviously conscientious over their work, which was done with the minimum of mess. Our drive is quite small compared with much of the work that Star Paving do but the care taken could not have been better. We were told at the beginning that the work would take four days, and it did, which we thought was fine. My wife and I are both very pleased with the finished work and would not hesitate to recommend Star Paving to anyone.
